Recovery Art has helped me to claim back the years the locust has eaten because of operations and various events in my life. It has helped me to rediscover my creativity, to try out new ideas and materials as well as provide a social stimulus and a place where I can meet others and discuss art and projects amongst other things.

From 20017-2018 I worked with a group of adults who were in recovery from mental or physical ill health to co-curate an exhibition of their work at The Barber Institute of Fine Arts, The University of Birmingham. I lead sessions in drawing, painting, and printing, as well as thematic discussions in the galleries to support the groups practice.
